Im Freiheiz durften Black Casino And The Ghost aus UK als Opener für Kula Shaker ran. Nicht ganz einfach die Aufgabe, aber ich glaube Elisa Zoot, Gary Kilminster, Paul Winter-Hart und Ariel Lerner haben es mit Ihrem eigenen alternativen Rocksound geschafft den einen oder anderen Zuschauer dazu zu bringen sich mehr mit Black Casino & The Ghost zu beschäftigen. Und hier gibt es die Konzertfotos der Combo aus dem Freiheiz in München.
Black Casino And The Ghost had the chance to open up for Kula Shaker in Munich at the Freiheiz. In my opinion Paul Winter-Hart, Gary Kilminster, Elisa Zoot and Ariel Lerner could win over some fans and yes, after the gig there were quite some people at the Black Casino & The Ghost merch stand.

Beach Slang 07.02.2016 Milla München
Das war mal großes Kino! Beach Slang live im Milla in München. Was braucht ein Konzert noch mehr? Gute Musik, gute Lieder, gutes Publikum, eine Band die abging und sich auch mit dem Publikum austauschte, unerfüllte Liederwünsche (oder halt leicht abgeändert), Publikumsmitsinger, Umarmungen, Jumps, ach wie geil war das denn? Danke Milla für das die Jungs holen und Danke Beach Slang, namentlich James Alex, Ed McNulty, Ruben Gallego und JP Flexner fürs abgehen.
What a great show! Beach Slang live at the Milla in Munich. How much better can a concert get? Good music, good songs, good audience, a band who really rocked, a song wishlist (which got interpreted in another way), co-singer from the audience, hugs, jumps and stupid comments. A big thank you to the Milla and a big thank you to Beach Slang, thanks to JP Flexner, Ed McNulty, Ruben Gallego and James Alex.

Petal 07.02.2016 Milla München
Endlich: mit großer Erwartung war ich zum ersten Mal im Milla, denn Beach Slang gaben sich die Ehre. Davor durfte Petal ran. Tja, Petal sind/ waren nur eine Person. Kiley Lotz stand so etwas verloren auf der Bühne, aber machte Ihre Sache gut. So irgendwie leicht entrückt, doch angenehm konnte Kiley Lotz Ihre Lieder vortragen. Gitarre und Gesang und später gab es dann noch etwas musikalische Verstärkung aus dem Beach Slang Team.
Went to the Milla in Munich and was happy to see Beach Slang and hey, there was an opener as well: Petal. OK Petal are or was on this evening just Kiley Lotz. Although Kiley Lotz looked a bit lost, it did not affect her music. Seemed fey, still a nice one. Just her guitar and her voice, later on with some musical support from the Beach Slang team.
Immer wieder interessant, da gehe ich nach Holland und es ergibt sich ein Tag mit nur deutschen Bands. Eine davon war geplant, Rest ist passiert. Und die Antilopen Gang war mein letzter Streich an diesem Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival 2016. Sozusagen mein Groningen Abspannkonzert. Deutscher Hip-Hop, nicht so ganz meine Musik die ich höre und somit konnte der Antilopen Gang Auftritt im Vera mich nicht so richtig packen.
Always interesting, I go to the Netherlands and it happens that my music day just had German artist playing for me. One was planned, the other two bands happened. My last gig at the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival 2016 was the Antilopen Gang. It is a German hip-hop band and I am not really into hip-hip. So the Antilopen Gang show did not really bring me to dance.
Weiter geht es beim Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, diesmal gab es schon derbe einen drauf, denn Mantar machen jetzt nicht gerade Kindergartenmusik.
Die Band Mantar kommt aus Hamburg und besteht aus Hanno Klänhardt (Gesang, Gitarre) und Erinç Sakarya (Schlagzeug). Die zwei Jungs machen ordentlich Druck (Krach / wohligen Lärm… ach was gab es nicht noch alles zu hören dazu) und haben mit Ode To The Flame bei Nuclear Blast Ihr zweites Album raus. Laut war es!
The next one at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in Groningen was Mantar and they are not playing for the Kindergarten. Mantar is a two piece band from Hamburg (Erinç Sakarya on drums and Hanno Klänhardt on guitar and vocals) and they have their second album release out on Nuclear Blast (called: Ode To The Flame). The Mantar show was loud and violent.
Der Jesper Munk kommt ja aus der Münchner Ecke und ein Kollege meinte, der ist gut, lass uns hingehen, gesagt getan. Ergebnis dieses Jesper Munk Auftritts beim Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen: Kollege hatte Recht! Das war ein gutes Konzert und Jesper Munk ist zu empfehlen.
This guy is from Munich, I am living near Munich, but never made it to a gig. And in Munich this Jesper Munk is already playing bigger venues. A colleague was telling me, let’s catch him, he is doing good shows. So we went to see Jesper Munk at the Eurosonic Noorderslag and my colleague is right, it was a good show at the De Spieghel in Groningen.
