Vor fast genau 11 Jahren hatte ich Blood Red Shoes im Atomic Café in München erleben dürfen, umso mehr hat es mich gefreut, jetzt hier in London wieder einmal Laura-Mary Carter und Steven Ansell sehen zu können. Waren sie damals gut, so haben sie nichts verlernt, ein wirklich kraftvolles Konzert. Einiges von der neuen Platte Get tragic, gepaart mit Songs aus den „alten“ Alben. Hat richtig Spaß gemacht und zum Schluss durfte das glückliche Publikum für eine Minute oder so zusammen den Liedtext „grölen“ bevor es dann zum finalen Konzertende kam. Ein tolles Indie Rock Konzert mit viel Power und Emotionen von Blood Red Shoes in der Islington Assembly Hall in London.
Blood Red Shoes at Islington Assembly Hall in London. Saw them 11 years ago in Munich and it was a blast and now I was lucky to catch them again and let me tell you, it was another blast! Great live performance from Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell. Quite a lot of new songs from their new record get tragic but as well songs from the „older“ times, a powerful mix perfectly performed on stage. Lots of energy and sometimes they even had a “band” with them on stage. At the end the audience was singing “I wish I was someone better” together for a minute or so before Blood Red Shoes took over again and finished the show up with “Colours fade”. Did I already told you that it was a blast?
