Da steh ich in Spanien vor der Bahn und komme mit 2 Irländerinnen ins Gespräch und dies beschert Rock The Cam ein Konzert und Fotos in Novo Santi Petri (Chiclana de La Frontera). Also mal souverän ins Hotel Barrosa Park einmaschiert und am Poolside Patrick o‘ Sullivan angeschaut. Ein Typ mit Akkordeon und vorprogrammierter Begleitmusik. Große Hits und mir unbekannte Lieder gab es. Aber hey, ich war positiv überrascht, Patrick o‘ Sullivan hat alles mit einem irischen Touch gespielt, dabei El Viva Espagna eingebaut und auch ein Johnny Cash Medley vorgetragen. Noch nie was von dem Herrn o‘ Sullivan zuvor gehört, doch es waren bestimmt so 150 Leute da. Gemütlich im Schatten oder in der Sonne gehockt, Mittags die Biere reingezischt, dann hat Patrick zum Tanzen aufgefordert und es ging was! Einige vor der Bühne abgegrooved, fast alle mitgeklatscht, mitgesungen, yeah Patrick o‘ Sullivan (der irische Barde) hatte das 55+ Publikum fest im Griff. Zugegeben, mit dem Ganzen drumherum hat es auch mir gut gefallen.
I met two Irish girl at the train and this brought me to a concert in Novo Santi Petri (Chiclana de La Frontera – Spain) and some live concert photos right out of Andalucia. So I went to the Barrosa Park Hotel to see the gig from Patrick O‘ Sullivan at the Poolside. He was singing and playing his accordeon while there was as well background music from the computer. Played some famous tunes and songs I did not know. All with an Irish touch and as well a Johnny Cash Medley was included – hey I liked it. Not only Rock The Cam but as well about 150 other people. All drinking their beers in the shadow or directly in the hot Spanish afternoon sun. Patrick o‘ Sullivan knew how to rock: some danced in front of the stage, most joined in with clapping the rythum or singing with him. And like mentioned before not only the 55+ audience was pleased, also Rock The Cam enjoyed the whole setting and Patrick o‘ Sullivan live on stage and Paul Claffey Tours in association with Walsh Tours made it possible!
