Dust Bolt 28.07.2010 Backstage München


Dust Bolt

Aus der Ecke Landsberg am Lech kommen Dust Bolt und die Jungs (Lenny B. voc. + guitars, Flo D. guitars, Bene M. bass und Nico R. drums) durften vor Sepultura ran. Leider (für mich) war das Backstage bumsvoll und ich zu spät, so konnte ich nur noch drei Lieder unter der Mühe nach Vorne zu kommen anhören. Tja und deshalb leider auch nur ein Bild. Doch dies zeigt was Dust Bolt für Musik spielen: Trash Metal.

The band Dust Bolt comes from Bavaria and I was almost able to catch them live. They were playing at the Backstage before Sepultura and unfortunately (for me) the venue was packed and I was late. So I only was able to catch three songs while trying to get in front. No easy thing and therefore just one picture of Nico, Bene, Lenny and Flo. But this Dust Bolt pictures shows what kind of music they are playing: Trash Metal!

Jan Zehrfelds Panzerballett

Bisher nur darüber gelesen, jetzt aber habe ich Jan Zehrfelds Panzerballett beim KLANGfest in München live erleben und somit fotografieren dürfen. Was das Panzerballett so bietet ist schon harte Kost, ein ACDC Cover, Time Of My Life, ein Mitklatschfussball-song und das alles in einer eigenen Metal – Jazz Interpretation. Das neue Jan Zehrfelds Panzerballett heißt nicht zum Spaß: hart genossen, von ABBA bis Zappa.

I had just read about Jan Zehrfelds Panzerballett, but now I was able to catch them live on stage at the Black Box in Munich. And let me tell you, that is not easy listening. JZ PB play a fusion of metal and jazz and do cover popular songs (like ACDC and Rammstein) in their own special way. Have a look at these concert photos and get their new album out on ACT music called „Hart genossen von ABBA bis Zappa“.

Durban Poison IV 22.05.2010 KLANGfest München


Durban Poison IV

Ahaaaaa, Durban Poison IV live in der Black Box in München beim KLANGfest. Stand da noch was von abenteuerlicher Mischung von ach was weiß ich, muss ich gestehen, dass mich der Stoff der Zwei doch überfordert hat. Perkussive Elektronik und freie Bläserimprovisationen (laut Heft) haben mich jetzt mal so auf die Schnelle nicht ganz überzeugt, ist wohl nicht meine Schublade. Nun noch ein paar Infos: Durban Poison IV sind Matthias Schneider-Hollek und Klaus Burger und die Platten gibt es auf Schneeball Records.

How did you like it? To tell the truth, this really challenged me, not really my cup of tea.

Buzzcocks 16.08.2010 Festa Di Radio Onda D’Urto Brescia


Buzzcocks

Die Jungs Steve Diggle und Pete Shelley sind nun auch schon viele Jahre aktiv im Namen des Punk. 1978 gab es sogar Chartplatzierungen für die Buzzcocks. Seit dem gibt es immer wieder neue Platten und alle drehen sich um Punk Rock mit viel Melodie. Jetzt beim Festa Di Radio Onda D’Urto konnte ich die Buzzcocks mal wieder live sehen und auch ein paar Fotos machen. Steve macht richtig Show mit seiner Gitarre und Jumps gibt es auch! Gutes Konzert was richtig Spaß gemacht hat und die Setliste war auch gespickt mit den großen Hits. Buzzcocks live in Brescia, mille grazie.

Here are some concert photos from the fabulous Buzzcocks. I was lucky to catch them live at the Festa Di Radio Onda D’Urto in Brescia – Italy. Pete Shelley + Steve Diggle and the rest played a great gig and Rock The Cam was even able to get some Jump pictures from Steve Diggle. After years around it is always a pleasure to get these Buzzcocks guys live again.
