New Model Army 20.10.2013 Backstage München
Bis einen Tag vorher wusste ich nicht, ob ich es zum New Model Army Konzert in München schaffe oder nicht und dann das „Go“. Freudig und erwartungsvoll zum Backstage gegangen und was soll ich Euch schreiben? Mich haben New Model Army mal wieder voll überzeugt und welch ein Glück, dass ich dabei sein durfte. Los ging es mit „I need more time“ aus der neuen Platte Between Dog And Wolf, dann weiterhin ein paar ruhigere Stücke und ein Klassiker (Hunt), eine guter Stimmungsbogen von ruhigen und schnelleren Nummern, alt und neu. Justin Sullivan hat nach all den Jahren als Frontmann die Band und das Publikum voll im Griff, dazu ein hervorragendes Licht (super auf die Lieder abgestimmt) und das alles macht dann halt auch ein Super Konzert aus. Obwohl ich die langsameren Lieder Zuhause etwas lieber höre, sind die schnelleren (härteren) Nummern live einfach mehr zum Abgehen. So wie die Setliste bestückt war, war es eine schöne Konzertreise, was dann auch dazu geführt hat, dass die alten Männer und auch einige Frauen (Publikum), die alten Männer (Band) zweimal noch auf die Bühne geklatscht und geschrien haben. Danke New Model Army, Danke Publikum, schön war es mal wieder.
Just a day before the New Model Army show in Munich at the Backstage I got the „Go“ that I am able to attend and lucky me, what can I write you? It was great! The concert started with some calmer tunes and took up speed. It was a great mix between old and new songs as well between quieter and faster (harder) ones. A fantastic light show (extra cheers to the light man) and Justin Sullivan in good mood with a tight band around him, packed with great music. Concert over and two times the audience called out for more and two times NMA came out before the final end. See you next time again!

Rise Against 26.04.2013 Monster Bash München
Mein drittes Mal Rise Against und mal wieder hat es gepasst. Bisher hatte ich die Jungs (leider) ja nur auf großen Bühnen gesehen und da gehören Rise Against auch hin, sowie dieses Mal als Headliner vom Monster Bash in München. Und die Jumps von Zach Blair sind einfach klasse!
Third time seeing Rise Against and third time having fun. They really belong on the big stage and so they did here well as Headliner from the MonsterBash Festival in Munich. And what I really like about Rise Agianst is this jumping man Zach Blair, cool!

Pennywise 26.04.2013 Monster Bash München
Ja, ich muss sagen, auf Pennywise habe ich mich auch gefreut. Die haben mir früher echt getaugt und dann letztes Jahr beim Hurricane war der Auftritt auch cool. Es gab soviel ich weiß mal wieder einen Sängerwechsel (Zoli Téglás wurde von Jim Lindberg abgelöst) und sonst war es wie Pennywise sein muss: flotter melodiöser Punk Rock und Bro Hymn und ab dafür. Fazit, auch dieses Mal haben mir Pennywise hier beim Monster Bash in München live gefallen.
I liked Pennywise a lot, then it got „lost“ and after seeing them last year at the Hurricane Festival I was happy to see them again. Old singer Jim Lindberg is back and “removed” Zoli Teglas and the rest, the rest was kind of the same Pennywise thing: nice melodic Punk Rock. Bro Hymn and lots of happy people. Yes, it was fun to be part at the Pennywise concert at the Monster Bash in Munich.
Als nächste Band waren A Wilhelm Scream dran beim Monster Bash Festival in München. Haben den Leuten gut eingeheizt und die Menge im Kesselhaus freute sich. A Wilhelm Scream sind Nuno Pereira, Mike Supina, Brian Robinson, Trevor Reilly und Nick Angelini. Wie so viele Bands im Hardcore – Melodic (oder Melodic-HC?) Bereich kommen die Jungs aus den USA.
Next band at the Monster Bash Festival in Munich was A Wilhelm Scream. They played a tight good set and the people at the Kesselhaus were happy. A Wilhelm Scream are from USA and the band members are: Trevor Reilly, Mike Supina, Nuno Pereira, Nick Angelini and Brian Robinson.

Flag 26.04.2013 Monster Bash München
Monster Bash in München? Ja, einige interessante Bands, aber die hier wollte ich dann doch unbedingt sehen: Flag. Groß angekündigt wurde das folgendermaßen: Original members Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski and Bill Stevenson with Stephen Egerton performing the music of BLACK FLAG. Da ich Black Flag nie sehen konnte, musste der Ersatz her und voila, hier sind Konzertfotos von Flag live auf der Bühne im Zenith in München beim Monster Bash Festival 2013.

I mean hey, this is a musical announcement, I have never seen Black Flag, let’s take the “substitute”. This and lot of other good bands at the Monsterbash Festival in Munich, the place to be on this Saturday in April 2013. Tim Vantol 26.04.2013 Monster Bash München
Das war für mich die größte Überraschung: Tim Vantol. Ich hatte noch nie was von dem Herrn gehört, aber das was da Oben auf der Bühne im Kesselhaus los war und die Lieder, das hat mich richtig positiv überrascht, das hat Spaß gemacht. Vielen Dank an das Monster Bash in München, dass der Tim Vantol gespielt hat, das war eine Entdeckung für mich.
Thanks to the Monster Bash Festival in Munich for having Tim Vantol. I never heard anything about this guy before, but it was for me the biggest surprise what he and his band did at the stage at the Kesselhaus. Good Songs and Tim Vantol was real fun. Thanks.
