Shelter rufen, Rock The Cam hört. Auf nach Nürnberg in den Z-Bau. Da war ich noch nie, immer gut, Konzert in einer neuen Location, immer interessant. Nachdem Shelter sowas von abgeliefert hatten das Jahr zuvor in München, war ich schon positiv gespannt, wie es dieses Mal wird. Hatte das Gefühl das Konzert war etwas „härter“ was bei den Shelter Songs auch gut passt. Ray war nicht ganz fit, die Stimme hatte gefühlt ein Kratzen, er hat aber durchgezogen. Und es gab wieder ordentlich drauf. Es ging los mit Message gefolgt von Civilized Men und weiter und weiter. Fazit, da hat Ray Cappo, Sammy Siegler, John Porcelly und Chris Interrante wieder geliefert und ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Shelter live Konzert.
When 20 summer pass, or maybe more… Shelter came back to Germany and after they have played a great show in Munich in 2025, in 2026 they had a stop in Nurnberg. Fine for me, a place I haven’t been before, which I always like, to see something new. After a bit of struggle, I made it to the Z-Bau in Nürnberg and when the opener was done it was Shelter time. They started with Message of the Bhagavat followed by Civilized Men and bäm one hit after the other. I thought that Ray had a bit an issue with his voice, but went through. Overall, my feeling was the show was “harder” than in Munich, which of course fits as well to the Shelter sound. Another nice one from Ray Cappo, Sammy Siegler, John Porcelly and Chris Interrante.
