Sonntagabend in München, Rock The Cam geht ins Backstage um The Dwarves zu sehen! Black Dahlia und seine Mannen auf Europa Tour zur neuen Take Back The Night Platte.
Vor Jahren durfte ich The Dwarves schon Mal live erleben und irgendwie habe ich diesmal das Gefühl gehabt, ganz so frisch wie vor 10 Jahren war das nicht. So ganz ist der Funke bei mir nicht übergesprungen.
Sunday night and Rock The Cam makes it to the Backstage Club in order to see The Dwarves. Black Dahlia and his band on their European tour to the new album called Take Back The Night.
Years ago I was happy to catch them live, but on this evening I had the feeling that somehow The Dwarves are not so fresh anymore. Could not really electrify me this show, maybe next time again.
Vor The Dwarves durfte Nick Oliveri und seine Death Electric ran. Live im Backstage in München. Besagter Herr hat ja schon so etwas Musikgeschichte (in gewissen Kreisen) geschrieben und dann gab es die Nick Oliveri live show. Hat gut gerockt und auch Kyuss Hits wie Green Machine gab es im Programm.
Nick Oliveri and Death Electric were playing before The Dwarves entered the stage in Munich at the Backstage. Nick Oliveri is quite known in certain circles and so the show did include as well for example the Kyuess hit Green Machine.

Svetlanas aus original Russland in München im Backstage als Support für The Dwarves. Zum Punk Rock gibt es eine Sängerin (Olga) die bei der letzten Tollwutimpfung geschwänzt hat und von einem infizierten Tier gebissen wurde! Boah geht die ab, welch Energiebündel, welch Fratzen. Ist das die Bühne oder ist die so? Finde es heraus beim nächsten Svetlanas Konzert, hier ein paar Bilder.
What is going on here? Svetlanas from once Russia playing at the Backstage in Munich. They opened up for The Dwarves and to their punk rock music there was the female singer and hey she was like a wild animal. Had the feeling she was bitten by an angry beast and she needs to let all the energy out. Get a taste of Svetlanas live here while looking from your secure screen onto these concert pictures.

Lange nicht mehr dagewesen, der Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Aber mit neuer Platte Wrong Creatures am Start endlich auch wieder live in München. Die Tonhalle ausverkauft und wieder einmal einen tollen Auftritt hingelegt. Einfach faszinierend wie es BRMC schafft, gute Platten zu machen und live abzuliefern. Keine Blink-Blink Show, kein geTanze, einfach Schlagzeug, Bass, Gitarre und Gesang (und ab und zu Mundharmonika). Peter Hayes, Robert Levon Been und Leah Shapiro werden wahrscheinlich nie den ganz großen Durchbruch schaffen (obwohl ich es Ihnen mehr als gönnen würde), aber auch nie schlecht werden! Rock nicht neu erfunden, jedoch Rock so gemacht wie Rock sein soll: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club!
It’s been a while since the last time that Black Rebel Motorcycle Club was around. And hey, BRMC did sell out the Tonhalle in Munich and did another great Rock show. After all this years they are not getting bad or boring, just deliver Rock! Another nice show of Peter Hayes, Robert Been and Leah Shapiro.
Die Vorband beim ausverkauften Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Konzert in der Tonhalle in München waren The Vacant Lots. Klingen tun Jared Artaud und Brian MacFadyen wie eine elektro Gargen Rock Band. The Vacant Lots hatten ein paar gute Nummern, aber leider auch einige Hänger bei Ihrem Auftritt.
The opening band for the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club concert at the Tonhalle in Munich was The Vacant Lots from USA. Brian MacFadyen and Jared Artaud sound a bit like an electro garage rock band and their show had some good tunes, as well as some songs which could not really convince me.
Gute Laune mit The Real McKenzies. Ende Mai kamen The Real McKenzies aus Kanada ins beschauliche München und haben das Strom gerockt. Partyabend mit der Celtic-Punk Band (habe ich irgendwo gelesen und die Schublade Celtic-Punk trifft es sogar echt gut, man könnte natürlich aber auch über Folk-Punk sinnieren). Eine volle Bühne mit einem trinkenden Sänger (Paul McKenzie), Dudelsack, Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug plus flotte Musi für mein Spusi! Der Band und dem Publikum hat es Spaß gemacht und ich denke der Umsatz an alkoholischen Getränken war diesen Abend auch nicht schlecht.
On tour in Europe with a stop in Munich: The Real McKenzies from Vancouver Canada came around to rock the Strom. And hey, this was party! Party celtic punk night with Paul McKenzie and his boys. From the beginning to the end, the show was wonderful, fast songs, some mellow tunes, some stories in-between the songs and lots of Prost. Thanks Real McKenzies for this great concert night.
