Die CD mit dem Namen Promotion Tape ist nicht von der US Band The Capitols, sondern von Johann Blake, Sami Salman, Jan Salgovic und Matija Chlupacek – eine aufstrebende Band aus Bayern!
Los geht es mit Maverick In A Suite In Red. Dies ist solider, guter Brit Pop, so ein bisschen wie Franz Ferdinand. Melodie, Beat, ja macht Spaß. Dann kommt Inhale/Exhale und das ist boring, warum sowas mit auf die CD packen?
Zum Schluss gibt es Pelican, dieser Song ist meiner Meinung nach nicht so gut wie Lied Nummer 1, passt aber.
Ach, ich glaube da gibt es auch eine Version in weiß mit zusätzlich On The Run darauf.
Jetzt muss ich The Capitols nur noch irgendwann live erwischen.

THE CAPITOLS - Promotion Tape

This CD is not from the US band The Capitols but from The Capitols hailing out from Bavaria in Germany. The Promotion Tape starts with Maverick In A Suit In Red which is a good tune, kind of Brit Pop and reminds me a bit of Franz Ferdinand. Next one is Inhale/Exhale and sorry, this is boring, what is the reason for putting this on the CD? And song number three is called Pelican which is good again, still my favorite is song one.
And now, now I only have to catch Sami Salman, Matija Chlupacek, Johann Blake and Jan Salgovic live at a show.

Es ist so weit, 2015 ist am Start und ich wünsche alles Gute, viel Gesundheit, Erfolg und tolle Konzerte!
Und wer mal so richtig zeigen will was R’n’R für einen bedeutet, der predigt dies auch auf der Straße.

Archie Bronson Outfit 11.06.2014 Feierwerk München


Archie Bronson Outfit

Aus England kommen Archie Bronson Outfit und Rock The Cam hatte das Glück die Jungs vor die Kamera zu bekommen und dem Konzert in München zu lauschen. Das was Dorian Hobday, Mark Cleveland und Sam Windett beim Feierwerk auf die Bühne gezaubert haben, war ein Wild Crush!
Dann habe ich mir natürlich gleich noch die lecker Vinyl LP gekauft.

Rock The Cam was lucky cause I was able to catch Archie Bronson Outfit playing live in Munich. Mark „Arp“ Cleveland, Sam Windett and Dorian Hobday hit the stage at the Feierwerk and it was a wild crush! Interesting mix between rock, progressive and guitar weirdo rock and let me tell you, after the Archie Bronson Outfit gig I went to the merch stand and bought their Wild Crush LP on tasty vinyl.

Zurück im Kafe Kult in München: Max und seine Bande die auf den Namen Sonic Avenues hört. Mit Ihrem neusten Album Mistakes sind Sonic Avenues den weiten Weg aus Kanada gekommen, um mal wieder Ihren Power Pop Punk auf der Bühne zu kredenzen. Lecker war es.

Max is back in Munich, with him his buddies in the band called Sonic Avenues. Way far from home (Canada) Sonic Avenues are on the road in Germany to present their newest album called Mistakes. And let me tell you, not seeing them is a mistake. See you next time around in the Kafe Kult.

Das Kafe Kult lädt mal wieder ein zu einem Doppelpack aus Kanada. Beginnen durfte NEEDLES//PINS aus Vancouver. NEEDLES//PINS spielten Ihren dreckigen Power Pop Punk, genau das was München erwartet hat und ja die Freude war groß. So jetzt noch die Shamebirds LP holen und ab dafür.

Two bands from Canada. NEEDLES//PINS were the ones to start this live event at the Kafe Kult in Munich. NEEDLES//PINS played their kind of dirty power pop Punk, yup, what Munich wanted to see and hear live. Thanks!

Barb Wire Dolls

Da habe ich Barb Wire Dolls vor noch nicht allzu langer Zeit sehen dürfen, dann sind die Punk Rocker wieder in München. Was hatte sich geändert? Aus Voodoo Doll am Bass ist JJ Doll am Bass geworden. Es war ein anderer Laden: die Garage deLuxe wo der Auftritt von statten ging und sonst?
Eigentlich nichts. Isis Queen, Pyn Doll, Krash Doll und eben jene erwähnte JJ Doll haben wieder das Punk Rock Feuerwerk auf der Bühne gezündet. Ja da geht einfach was bei den Barb Wire Dolls Shows und es ist mir schon wieder extrem schwer gefallen die Bilderflut zusammen zu stutzen. Macht einfach Spaß das BWD live Erlebnis.

Just a few months ago I was able to catch Barb Wire Dolls live in Munich and now they are back again. What did change? There was Voodoo Doll playing bass and now it is JJ Doll and the place was Glockenbachwerstatt last year and now they played the Garage deluxe. Anything else? Not really, another kick ass punk rock show from Isis Queen, Krash Doll, Pyn Doll and JJ Doll. Another time too many good pictures and again I was not able to break them down to 12, but see yourself. Always fun a Barb Wire Dolls show.
