Itchy Poopzkid

Da bin ich zu den Itchy Poopzkid ins Kesselhaus gegangen (mein Kollege hat die mir ganz arg ans Herz gelegt) und habe mich beim Monster Bash unvoreingenommen überraschen lassen. Und Hallo, das war Überraschung! Bisher gingen Sibbi, Panzer und Max an mir vorbei, aber danke MonsterBash, jetzt durfte ich sie live erleben. Ja und erleben ist der richtige Ausdruck, denn der Itchy Poopzkid Auftritt war klasse und hat einfach riesig Spaß gemacht. Tolle Songs, gute Laune auf der Bühne und auch im Publikum, Stimmung ja so blöde es klingt: Stimmung!

Der Name ist einfach Musik in meinen Ohren, Jello Biafra! War er doch mal Sänger (der Sänger) bei den Dead Kennedys (wo auch so ein paar Hits von gespielt wurden) und hat dann mit vielen anderen Bands zusammengearbeitet und auch mit LARD gerockt, ist er jetzt dabei mit der Guantanamo School of Medicine die Bühnen der Welt zu bespielen. Ja, denn ein Jello Biafra Konzert ist immer auch eine Performance: politische Statements, Gehampel und deftige, gute Musik. Diese wird von Ralph Spight, Kimo Ball, Andrew Weiss und Paul Della Pelle live dargeboten. Mir hat der Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine Auftritt beim Monster Bash in München gefallen!

Boysetsfire 03.05.2014 Monsterbash München


Boysetsfire

Jetzt ging mal ordentlich was im Zenith beim Monster Bash in München, denn die Band Boysetsfire hat Ihren Auftritt genutzt, um Ihre Hits in die Menge zu ballern. Ebenso war es eine Art Heimspiel für den Bassisten Robert Ehrenbrand, der ja aus München kommt. Nathan Gray und seine Jungs wussten zu gefallen und diese Bilder von Boysetsfire hier hoffentlich auch (und ich finde mein besten Foto am Abend ist auch von Boysetsfire, rate mal welches ich meine).

Lots of action at the Zenith in Munich during the gig of Boysetsfire at the MonsterBash. The audience liked it and for the bass player Robert Ehrenbrand it was playing at home (cause he is from this funny Bavarian city). Good show from Nathan Gray and his group members and hey, I think my best picture from this whole evening is from Boysetsfire, guess which I mean!

Ryker‘s 03.05.2014 Monsterbash München

Die nächste Hardcore Band im Monster Bash lineup. Diesmal die Ryker’s aus Deutschland. Waren mal eine ziemlich große Nummer in dem Bereich, aber wie schon bei Madball, ist nicht meine Musik. Dann schon eher die 7 Seconds die der Ryker’s Sänger Kid D. auf seinem T-Shirt präsentiert hat.

The next hardcore band on the monster bash line up in Munich: Ryker’s. They are from Germany and a while ago they have been quite a big number in the HC scene in Europe. For me it was about the same like with Madball, it is not my kind of music; I prefer the music that Ryker’s singer Kid D. had on his T-shirt.

Madball 03.05.2014 Monsterbash München


Madball

Harte Musik für die harten Jungs beim Monster Bash in München von Madball. Madball kommen aus NYC und sind bekannt für Ihren New York Hardcore. Die Musik ist nicht wirklich meins, aber angekommen sind Freddy Cricien, Hoya Roc, Mitts und Mike Justian sehr wohl. Vom Auftritt hat mich Freddy Cricien irgendwie an Mike Muir erinnert, immer unterwegs und immer in Action.

On stage at the Monster Bash in Munich were as wellt Madball. Madball are from NYC and are famous for their New York Hardcore music style. The Wonder Years

Da waren Sie, die Wonder Years aus Pennsylvania, USA . Sechs Mann auf der Bühne und ab dafür. Was meinte der Kollege? Interessante Rhythmen, ist das jetzt gut oder schlecht? Egal, das frage ich Ihn später, ich fand‘s gut und Dan Campbell ging auf der Bühne (beim Monster Bash im Kesselhaus in München) auch ziemlich gut ab.

Alkaline Trio

Mein drittes Mal mit Alkaline Trio. Das erste Mal top, das zweite Mal war echt schlecht und dieses Mal?
OK ich bin voreingenommen, denn wenn jemand ein Lied wie Sadie geschrieben hat, dann Hut ab. Und das haben Matt Skiba, Daniel Andriano und Derek Grant unter anderem auch gespielt, also ihr wollt immer noch meine Wertung für den Alkaline Trio Auftritt beim Monster Bash in München im Zenith? 2:1 für die Gute Seite!

It was my third time with Alkaline Trio and my first time was great, second time quite bad and this time at the Monsterbash in Munich? 2:1 for the good side!
Hey and by the way, I think Sadie is one of the songs which everybody should have at least have the chance to listen to once in their life! And even on the 100st time, it is a killer song! Yes and Rock The Cam is keen on seeing Daniel Andriano, Matt Skiba and Derek Grant again to get the 3:1
