Rock The Cam
Das war klasse, die Modern Pets live im Kafe Kult in München. Bei mir über P. Trash zu Ohren gekommen und live halt auch gut, was auch immer an dem 77er Punk Rock Ding dran ist, Spaß hat es gemacht.
Nice one, the Modern Pets show at the Kafe Kult in Munich. I found out about them through P. Trash and was happy to catch them live. Fun seeing them live, whatever there is with this 77 Punk Rock thing, I like it anyway!
Das sind Nervöus aus Berlin und die machen… Ja, was eigentlich?
Was genau die da gemacht haben weiß ich nicht, für mich war es ein anstrengendes und irgendwie dreckiges Konzert (dreckig ist ein Kompliment). Kafe Kult wurde bespielt und gerockt. Nervöus haben ordentlich einen abgeschrubbt und auch der Sänger (Sänger?) musste mal Pause machen. Hier die Bilder.
What was this? Can’t really tell you. Nervöus from Berlin played the Kafe Kult in Munich and it was an exhausting and dirty (dirty is a compliment). Noise and hardcore punk and ohh I don’t know, even the singer (singer?) needed to take some breaks during the show. Enjoy the pix.
Schon ein Kracher: Refused sind nochmals zurück und Rock The Cam durfte ein paar Bilder für Euch machen. Volles Backstage in München und eine gute Band auf der Bühne, schon komisch wenn es nun jetzt wirklich die letzte Chance ist Dennis Lyxzén mit Refused zu sehen. Das Konzert war klasse und hat mich kein bisschen enttäuscht, sogar den ein oder anderen Sprung durfte ich fotografieren.

Dennis Lyxzén and his boys kicked it hard at the Backstage in Munich and Rock The Cam was happy to take some pictures for you. Great event and even some Jumps are taken. Stay fucking wild stay fucking hungry! If you have to say something say it loud.
Wohin es Rock The Cam so verschlägt. Diesmal bin ich in der Immatrikulationshalle der TUM in München gelandet. Warum? Lucia Licht des Nordens, darum! Der Luciachor München hatte geladen und bei LUCIA, TÄRNOR OCH STJÄRNGOSSAR HÄLSAR ER ALLE VÄÖKOMNA! kannst du da einfach nicht kommen? Das Konzert war nicht wirklich Rock, aber schön war es trotzdem.
Strange event where Rock The Cam landed in Munich. Lucia, light of the north! It was a concert from Der Luciachor München powered by Swedish people. It was not really rock (although there was fire around) but still it was nice.

Habe ich es letztes Jahr zum Glück zum München Eröffnungs- Monster Bash geschafft, steht das 2014 Fest schon wieder an. Also Kalender prüfen, Tag freimachen und am 3. Mai zum Punk Rocken ins Zenith nach München.

Last year I was lucky to make it to the Monster Bash so my advise for you: Save the date and come out on the 3rd of May to Munich to party the Punk Rock and the 2014 Monster Bash.
Ughhhh, just look at the line up so far….
Im Vorfeld so einiges über die Barb Wire Dolls gelesen und dann natürlich Ihre eigenen Statements angeschaut von wegen wie die Clubs gerockt werden, da habe ich mal die Liveaction Erwartung hoch angesiedelt. Dann hin zur Glockenbachwerkstatt und ausverkauft, na ja ist auch ein kleiner Laden und einige Leute mussten wieder ohne Konzert gehen – ich habe es dann noch reingeschafft, da rechtzeitig da gewesen. Auf dem Poster dick noch 100% DIY und alles schon ziemlich Punk Rock. Nach zwei Vorbands war es dann soweit und Isis Queen, Pyn Doll, Krash Doll und neu am Bass Remmington Pearce haben dann gezeigt warum es um Barb Wire Dolls doch so eine Art Hype (im kleinen DIY Punkrock Kosmos) gibt: weil es live einfach richtig knallt. Isis ist die Frontfrau und zieht alle Register, von püppie-kokett auf wild, Aufruf zum Fuck You und natürlich zur Revolution; mit dem Publikum wird gespielt und dies miteinbezogen, zum Beispiel beim Ritt durch den Raum, beim Crowdsurfing oder einfach so beim Bezirzeln des nächstdastehenden Punk Rockers. Die Band beherrscht Ihre Instrumente und kann spielen und Frau Isis Queen kann singen/ schreien und dazu noch eine klasse Liveperformance abfackeln. Schon wild und live fast volle Punktzahl, einzigst die Jumps haben für mich gefehlt.
I did read a lot of stuff about Barb Wire Dolls (how wild their concerts are…) and that put my expectations for the live show quite high. The Glockenbachwerkstatt in Munich was sold out and after two opening bands Isis Queen, Pyn Doll, Krash Doll and Remmington Pearce took the stage in the small club. And it was energy right from the beginning! The band knows how to play and Isis really is more than the singer, she is the performer on stage. From hot sexy girl to wild female something, there was everything, but no time to relax. Always playing with the audience and always in action, during the show I really believed that this night revolution is born. Real good Punk Rock thunderstorm what I was lucky to witness this evening in the club, a Barb Wire Dolls live thunderstorm!
