Als Explosions In The Sky auf die Bühne kommen heißt es Film ab und take care! Und was Chris Hrasky, Munaf Rayani, Mark Smith und Michael James aus Austin / USA bieten ist Kopfkino genährt aus der Musik. Wie sich das anschaut/anhört? Schön! Nur das Licht war zum Fotos machen eher ungeschickt, aber der Rest – schön!

When Explosions In The Sky entered the stage it was like start the film – Action! And what Michael James, Chris Hrasky, Mark Smith and Munaf Rayani celebrated was like a brain trip fed by the music. How this looks/sounds like? Wonderful! Only the light was quite bad for taking pictures but the rest – wonderful!

The Drift

Sehr sphärisch und langsam. Bilder die sich in Zeitlupe ineinander verweben. Mit Bass (Trevor Montgomery) Gitarre (Danny Paul Grody) und Schlagzeug (Rich Douthit) musikalisch auf der Bühne kreiert. The Drift aus San Francisco / USA live in der Theaterfabrik in München. Im Gepäck ihr neues Album „Blue Hour“ raus auf Temporary Residence Limited.

Spherical and emotional music. Pictures changing in slow motion, this was what The Drift from San Francisco showed on stage at the Theaterfabrik in Munich.
Rich Douthit, Danny Paul Grody and Trevor Montgomery (The Drift) did suit well as opening band for Explosions In The Sky.

Coliseum 26.03.2011 Zenith München


Coliseum

Gekannt habe ich Coliseum nur von einem Strike Anywhere Konzert, denn dort wurde ein Coliseum Bandshirt auf der Bühne getragen. Als Vorband von Rise Against konnten mich Coliseum (Ryan Patterson, Carter Wilson, Mike Pascal) am heutigen Samstag im Zenith nicht ganz überzeugen, ich glaube da war einfach die Halle groß. Bis zum nächsten mal in einem kleineren Club dann bitte.

Saturday night at the Zenith in Munich: Coliseum from Kentucky were the opener at the sold out Rise Against show. And to tell the truth it was not bad but it was not good, I guess the place was just too big for them. See you again Coliseum, but please in a smaller location.
