Jawohl, ich durfte Jawbreaker live erleben. Da hat sich Rock The Cam doch einfach für ein entspanntes Konzert auf nach San Francisco gemacht, um die „Legende“ live zu sehen. Jawbreaker haben drei Abende am Stück im The Fillmore gespielt. Die Show in der Mitte war die meine. The Fillmore als größerer Club hat mir gut gefallen (uhhh die Poster an den Wänden…) und dann nach der Vorband war es soweit: Blake Schwarzenbach, Adam Pfahler und Chris Bauermeister kamen auf die Bühne. Der Jawbreaker-Banner im Hintergrund, die drei Herren davor und im Raum, glückliche, tanzende und mitgrölende Fans. Was meinte der eine neben mir, gestern beim Jawbreaker Konzert bin ich schon vor Freude gestorben und jetzt passiert es wieder, das ist ja so wunderbar.
Dem kann ich nicht viel beifügen, außer dass ich den Tag davor die Chance nicht hatte. Wunderbar trifft es gut und danke an alles für diesen tollen Konzertabend, kein Danke an meine Kamera, die so mehr oder weniger den Geist aufgegeben hatte. Hier noch die Jawbreaker Fotos.
Yes, I was able to see Jawbreaker live. For a hopefully cool show Rock The Cam just went all the way to San Francisco to see them playing. Jawbreaker had three nights in a row and my concert was the one in the middle. The Fillmore was full of waiting people and I must say, I like the place (the poster walls are mind-blowing!).
After the opening band it was time and did it feel great when Blake Schwarzenbach, Adam Pfahler and Chris Bauermeister entered the stage. A little hello and the ride was on. Great songs live, standing the test of time and a great moment for myself. Unfortunately my camera decided to stop working so have a look at these Jawbreaker photos here and enjoy (like I enjoyed the show). What did the one next to me say? Yesterday I was almost dying at the show and now again, this is so wonderful. (all said)
