Als Vorband von Jawbreaker durfte „La Vie En Rose“ Lucy Dacus im Strom in München ran. Lucy Dacus macht Indie Songwriter Rock und ich fand, es hat nicht so ganz zum Hauptact gepasst, der berühmte Funke ist bei mir an dem Abend nicht übergesprungen.
The opening band for Jawbreaker was Lucy Dacus on this evening in Munich at Strom. In my opinion it did not fit so well, the indie songwriter rock of Lucy Dacus to the main act.
Die Lords treiben Ihr Unwesen schon seit 1999 und nun endlich auch auf Rock The Cam! Was gab es an diesem Dienstag im gut besuchten Goldmark’s in Stuttgart? Garagen R’n’R mit Punk-Fuzz, Als Schublade können die Cramps, Fuzztones und MC5 dienen. Geile Show der Lords of Altamont und Jake „The Preacher“ Cavaliere war gekonnt immer am B-Movie Rock’n’Roll Biker Posen! Auf der Farfisa Orgel, oder daneben oder irgendwie verbogen an dem Instrument dran (seht selbst). Die LoA zockten gute Songs, ein sauberes Zusammenspiel und haben in Stuttgart mächtig abgeräumt: volle Punktzahl. Jake Cavaliere, Dani „Dani Sin“ Sindaco, Rob Zimmerman and Barry van Esbroek haben im Goldmarks wahrlich ein Konzerthighlight hingelegt. Ein Interview mit Jake Cavaliere folgt hoffentlich bald.
Since 1999 the Lords of Altamont are around and finally some pictures of them on RockTheCam. It was a Tuesday night when they took the stage at the good filled Goldmark’s club in Stuttgart. And yes they took the stage! What a great performance they gave and Jake „The Preacher“ Cavaliere was behind, on or kind of under his Farfisa organ. Nice B-Movie Rock’n’Roll Biker Gang posing paired with great garage punk fuzz rock music. File under Fuzztones, Cramps and MC5 Stooges. The Lords of Altamont are Jake Cavaliere, Dani „Dani Sin“ Sindaco, Rob Zimmerman + Barry van Esbroek and this evening was a real concert highlight! Im gut gefüllten Goldmark’s in Stuttgart haben sich Bitch Queens die Ehre gegeben. Aus der Schweiz, als Opener für die Lords of Altamont ins Schwabenländle gekommen. Guter Schweinerock in Huldigung an Turbonegro und The Hellacopters. Bitch Queens sind Melchior Quitt, Harry Darling, Marcel Colomb und Daniel Schönenberger.
Bitch Queens are from Basel in Switzerland and were the lucky ones to open for the Lords of Altamont at this Tuesday evening in Stuttgart at the Goldmark’s club. They have several records out and Melchior Quitt, Harry Darling, Marcel Colomb and Daniel Schönenberger are the bitches of the Bitch Queens, haha. They play a dirty power rock’n’roll in the spirit of Turbonegro, Dead Boys and The Hellacopters.
Volles Universum in Stuttgart, vor Aufregung positiv angespannte Stimmung vor der Bühne. Dann Pascow auf der Bühne und Bumm: Abriss, Action, Explosion! Himmel auf für das Geballer. Was für eine Party, was für ein Konzert. Einfach nur ein Danke an Alex, Flo, Swen und Ollo Pascow. Bis zum nächsten mal!
A packed Universum in Stuttgart, a positive tense mood in the audience waiting for a great show. Then Pascow on stage and bum explosion! What a party, what a concert, what energy in the whole place. Thanks to Alex, Flo, Swen und Ollo Pascow, see you hopefully soon again, enough said!
Lysistrata was? Genau! Aus Frankreich kommen Théo Guéneau, Max Roy und Ben Amos Cooper und auf der Bühne im Universum war es ein echtes was??? Eine geile intensive Gitarre, Bass, Schlagzeug Gesangsexplosion. Indie Mathrock Hardcore Dampfwalzen Punk, auf jeden Fall haben Lysistrata einen super Vorband-Job hingelegt, dabei die Anwesenden verwirrt und begeistert. Knallt gut rein.
Lysistrata what? Yes! From France are Théo Guéneau, Max Roy und Ben Amos Cooper and their Lysistrata gig was a real what? Intense and powerful math rock, indie hardcore punk… They did a great job as opening band on this night in Stuttgart at the Universum and left a confused and excited audience for Pascow.
